Team Howard established themselves as one of Canada's all-time great teams with another gold-medal performance at the World Curling Championship in Basel, Switzerland.
Representing the Coldwater & District Curling Club:
Skip – Glenn Howard
Third – Wayne Middaugh
Second – Brent Laing
Lead – Craig Savill
"God, it feels good, it feels sweet," said Howard. "I won my first world title 25 years ago and this one's just as special, maybe more so. It just feels great to win. They get more special because I don't think I'll be getting back (to the world championship)."
